This unique Siddha treatment for deaf and dumb was founded by Late Dr. Samigiri siddhar in 1960s. He successfully treated more than 1 lakh people including celebrities and prominent personalities. He is well known for his Siddha treatment in Tamilnadu and he was honored by many awards for the same.
After his death his legacy was carried on by Parambariya Vaithiyar S Arunagiri the Founder of Siddhar Ear Foundation. He is son of Dr. Samigirisiddhar and has being with Dr.samigiri Siddhar for years.
It was with this experience Siddhar Ear Foundation was able to prepare the medicine the way it was prepared traditionally. The medicine includes rare herbs and oils prepared in a unique way.

ABOUT SIDDHA MEDICINE
The Siddha science is a traditional treatment system generated from Dravidian culture. Palm leaf manuscripts say that the Siddha system was first described by Lord Shiva to his wife Parvati. Parvati explained all this knowledge to her son Lord Muruga. He taught to his disciple sage Agasthya. Agasthya trained 18 Siddhars and they spread this knowledge to human beings
Siddha Medicine (Tamil Citta- or Tamiḻ-Maruttuvam) is a system of traditional medicine originating in ancient Tamilakam in South India.
Traditionally, it is taught that the siddhars laid the foundation for this system of medication.Generally the basic concepts of the Siddha medicine are similar to Ayurveda.
The only difference appears to be that the siddha medicine recognizes predominance of Vaatham, Pitham and Kabam in childhood, adulthood and old age, respectively, whereas in Ayurveda, it is totally reversed: Kabam is dominant in childhood, Vaatham in old age and Pitham in adults.
